Special Projects and Where to Find Them

From Stephanie:

As a newer ministry we are still very much in the start up phase which means growth which looks like lots of building for us. I feel like we have lived in a construction zone since April of 2017 when we officially moved into Mercy Home. When we first started building Mercy Home 4 years ago we started with an empty corn field and God has continued to grow that field. While we definitely aren't growing corn the growth in the ministry here has been incredible, overwhelming, and such a blessing.

In the beginning of Mercy Ministries we communicated most things through Facebook and that worked great. It was a quick way to communicate needs as they arose, to many people, in a short amount of time. It was great for fundraising, prayer requests, and general updates. However, over the last couple of months there has been lots of changes on Facebook. Many have left or are limiting their time there and Facebook is forever changing their algorithms. While I don't even know what an algorithm is I've noticed the response to our Facebook posts has dramatically dropped, so I assume fewer people are seeing our posts.

Since we have so many needs in addition to our regular needs, some small and some big, we decided that building fundraisers for each one is the way to go. I want to share the direct link to the webpage where all of our extra needs will be from now on. Current we have several different projects that we are hoping to do or complete. Not only do these projects directly benefit our home, but most of the time they also benefit our village as well because building requires us to hire local help. When we are building a structure we can have anywhere from 20-30+ people here working for several days at a time.

Currently we have 5 main fundraisers up, 4 of them are fairly small and 1 is quite large because it is for adding onto MCA. You can click here to go to our main fundraising page to view each individual fundraiser. Thank you for your continued support of this ministry. We are so thankful for each and everyone who supports us here through prayer, sharing, and/or giving. It all means so much!
