The Unlikeliest Missionaries

A few weeks ago we were asked to start a vlog. That sounded super crazy to me and I pretty much hate video of myself, but here we are. Last week we posted our first vlog. It isn't super fancy and doesn't have perfect editing, but in true "Bys fashion", we dove in head first and we will work out the kinks and details as we go. Our plan is to post a new vlog each week and today our second is out. Don't worry, I won't blog about each vlog, definitely don't want to blow up your inbox, but I do want to make sure you know that we are doing this on a regular basis so you can follow along if you'd like.

So many daily Mercy Ministries happenings get lost because we don't have time to post about everything and our daily lives here have become normal to us. Our hope is that the vlog will help you see those things and that as God brings new followers that YouTube would make it easier to find out who we are and what is happening here. We've had several visitors come and say that they didn't realize what all goes on here until they visited because it is hard to keep up on Facebook or go back and look over the last few years. While we wish y'all could all come and see first hand, we know that isn't possible. The goal with this new vlog endeavor is to bring God the Glory and try and show more details and daily life at Mercy Ministries.

We feel like God is doing a great work here through the church, home, and school and the vlog will allow y'all a more indepth view of all of the things that happen in and under those 3 main ministries. We want to show what all He is doing in our little Village in Western Kenya. We are incredibly blessed to have so many standing with us in prayer and giving and we want to do our best to show the impact it is having.
