Vacation for a Donation

We have known the Martin family for over 10 years now, and they love what God is doing here. They have offered to do a "silent auction" for us. We have done an auction in the past and it was great, however, we learned that there are some rules which actually keep us (as a nonprofit) from doing auctions of items that we don't actually have in hand. However, the Martins really want to make this happen for us. You may have seen something about this on Facebook a few weeks ago, however, I wasn't able to share Ryan's post directly and it made things confusing so we wanted to send out a blog with this same offer. Ryan did have 1 person respond to his Facebook post and he has already made that donation to us. I will post all the details below, but please reach out with any questions.

The Martin's are offering any one of their VBRO properties for 5 NIGHTS including cleaning and other charges for a minimum bid of $1,000. There are NOT any hidden fees. Once you bid, if you win and pay them the bid amount, the Martin family will then make a donation to Mercy Ministries equaling the amount paid to them, no strings attached. If they get an offer of at least $3,000, they will personally match that offer and donate $6,000 to Mercy Ministries. Please email Ryan Martin directly createthestandard@gmail.com with your offer. This offer will run for the next 7 days. Last day to bid is April 16th, and on April 17th he will announce the results and contact the winner of the "silent auction".

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of the ways you continue to pour into this ministry. I know we are constantly asking for prayers, money, shoes, books, Amazon lists... everything really, and it can be overwhelming. It is overwhelming to be this needy, but the true Gospel is desperately needed in this area, the high school we are building is desperately needed, the feeding program we are starting is desperately needed, good medical care for our home and school is desperately needed, our home houses and loves on over 100 daily, we just have a lot of needs and not many areas where we can really "cut back." We appreciate the love and support poured out on this ministry so very much! We are blessed by your prayers, giving and time more than you will ever know.
