Mercy Ministries - AFM Africa - Proclaiming Christ in Kenya
Staff Feature - Emmanuel
We are very thankful to the many people who help us to do the Gospel work here. God has been so very gracious to bless us with many co-workers to share the burden of our daily duties, one of which is Emmanuel. He is a caretaker for the boys of Mercy Home, one of our teachers at Mercy Christian Academy, and a leader at Mercy Baptist Church. Emmanuel attends Wisdom Training Center, the theology school that has a branch that meets at our campus weekly and is a dedicated and hard worker. Some of what he does for us includes leading all the boys in a time of worship every morning (reading Scripture, praying, and singing a hymn and the Doxology), mentoring the boys, teaching several classes at the school (including Bible study), teaching the grade 3-5 Sunday school class at MBC, and he translates nearly all our daily chapel services, as well as the main service at church on the Lord's Day to Swahili.
Emmanuel is such a blessing to Mercy Ministries and we are thankful that God has brought him to be on our team. We are excited about the things to come and seeing how else God may use Emmanuel here.
Thanks to all of you who pray for and/or support this ministry financially. Because of your commitment to us, Emmanuel and many others are growing in the Word as well as being empowered to support themselves and their families.
